Portfolio Show

The senior portfolio show that was held at the National Building Museum on wed. was a great expierience for this undergraduate to see.  The quality of work that went into each students final portfolio was amazingly detailed and well cared for.  As i spoke to the graduates the one underlying piece of advice that they all had was to; make sure you don't fall in love with any particular idea you have.  The constant reworking of the main concept and the development of the idea takes a lot of flushing out and constant working over.  The most successful exhibit in my opinion was the student with 3D construction.  His interactive booth was a-buzz with activity the whole time i was there.  The idea of pulling the audience into your display and then being able to pounce upon them with your concept is a winner.  This was by far the most inspirational to me and showed the importance of making your presentation a unique experience.
